Indoor air quality and thermal comfort are two sides of the same coin — and addressing both requires more than opening a window. This category brings together the two primary systems responsible for controlling what you breathe and how your building feels: mechanical ventilation, which manages fresh air supply, moisture extraction, and pollutant removal; and air conditioning, which actively controls temperature and humidity year-round.

Both have become increasingly important as buildings are built or retrofitted to higher levels of airtightness.
