Shipping AIZO Products Internationally

AIZO Quality Heating is based in the United Kingdom and primarily serves UK customers through our website. However, we are pleased to accommodate international orders for our full range of products — including solar panels, solar battery storage systems, heat pumps, electric boilers, underfloor heating, infrared panel heaters, EV chargers and more.

Whether you are a homeowner in the United States looking for high-quality UK-engineered solar and heating technology, a developer in the Middle East seeking off-grid solar energy equipment, or a trade buyer anywhere in the world, we can work with you to get the right products to your door at a competitive shipping rate.

Because international freight costs vary significantly by product weight, dimensions, destination country and chosen carrier, we do not display fixed international shipping prices at checkout. Instead, we operate a simple quote-based process to make sure you get an accurate, fair shipping cost before committing to your order.

How International Ordering Works

Getting a shipping quote is quick and straightforward. Follow these four steps:

01

Browse & Select

Browse our website and identify the product(s) you wish to order, noting the product name and any relevant specifications.

02

Send Us an Enquiry

Email us at orders@qualityheating.co.uk with the product(s) you want, the quantity, and your full shipping address including country and postcode.

03

We Source Your Quote

We'll contact our carrier partners — UPS, FedEx and Royal Mail — to obtain the best available shipping rates for your order and destination.

04

Confirm & Order

We'll send you a full quote including product and shipping costs. Once you're happy, we'll raise an invoice and arrange dispatch.

Our International Shipping Carriers

We work with leading international freight and postal carriers to ensure your order arrives safely and on time, regardless of destination. Carrier selection depends on parcel size, weight, destination, and delivery speed required.

🟤 UPS International
🟣 FedEx International
🔴 Royal Mail International

For larger or heavier items such as solar battery storage units, heat pumps or electric boilers, freight forwarding options may also be discussed during the quotation process. We'll always recommend the most practical and cost-effective solution for your order.

Import Duties, Taxes & Customs

When goods are shipped internationally, they may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes (such as VAT, GST or sales tax) depending on the destination country and the nature of the products being imported. These charges vary by country and are entirely outside of our control.

Important: Any applicable import duties, customs fees, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient (the customer). AIZO Quality Heating is not liable for any charges imposed by the destination country's customs authorities.

How We Help

We understand that customs costs can be a concern when buying from overseas, so we're happy to provide guidance where we can. When you send us your enquiry, we can give you a general indication of potential duty and tax exposure for your country based on the product category, though we recommend verifying this with your local customs authority or a freight broker for accuracy.

Our Export Documentation

To facilitate smooth customs clearance, all international shipments are accompanied by accurate and compliant commercial documentation, including:

TARIC / HS Commodity Codes: All products are correctly classified with the relevant TARIC (Integrated Tariff of the European Communities) or Harmonised System (HS) codes on the commercial invoice. This allows customs authorities in the destination country to accurately assess the applicable duty rate.

Country of Origin: The country of manufacture is clearly stated on all export invoices to ensure compliance with trade regulations and preferential tariff schemes where applicable.

VAT Zero-Rating: Goods shipped internationally from the United Kingdom are zero-rated for UK VAT purposes. This means that UK VAT (20%) is not charged on international orders. The destination country's own import taxes may still apply upon arrival.

International Shipping — Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship solar panels and solar energy equipment internationally?
Yes — solar panels, solar battery storage systems, solar charge controllers, inverters and related off-grid and on-grid solar equipment are all available for international shipping. Simply email us the products you are interested in along with your shipping address and we will obtain a freight quote for you.
Which countries do you ship to?
We can ship to most countries worldwide, including the United States, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and most of Europe. If your country is not listed, please contact us and we will confirm availability.
How do I get an international shipping quote?
Simply email us at orders@qualityheating.co.uk with the following: the product name and model (as listed on our website), the quantity you require, and your full shipping address including country and postcode/zip code. We'll come back to you with a shipping quote from our carrier partners as quickly as possible.
Which couriers do you use for international deliveries?
We use a selection of major international carriers including UPS, FedEx and Royal Mail. The carrier we recommend will depend on your location, the size and weight of the goods, and your preferred lead time. For very large orders or freight-class shipments, we may also explore pallet freight forwarding options.
How long does international delivery take?
Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and the chosen carrier. As a general guide, express international services with UPS or FedEx typically take 3–7 working days to most major destinations. Standard international postal services via Royal Mail may take longer. Estimated delivery timeframes will be confirmed as part of your shipping quote.
Will I have to pay import duty or customs taxes?
This depends on your country's import regulations and the value and classification of the goods. Import duties and local taxes (such as VAT, GST or sales tax) are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon or before delivery. AIZO Quality Heating does not pre-pay destination country duties. We are happy to provide a general indication of the applicable TARIC/HS code for your product so that you can research expected duties in your country before placing your order.
Is UK VAT charged on international orders?
No. Goods exported from the United Kingdom to international destinations are zero-rated for UK VAT purposes. This means the standard 20% UK VAT is not applied to your order. Your destination country's own import taxes (such as VAT, GST or customs duties) may still be payable upon import.
What documentation will be provided with my international order?
All international shipments are accompanied by a commercial invoice that includes the full product description, quantity, declared value, country of origin, and the applicable TARIC/HS commodity code. This documentation is required by customs authorities worldwide and helps ensure smooth and accurate customs clearance.
What is a TARIC code and why does it matter?
A TARIC code (Tarif Intégré Communautaire) is an internationally harmonised commodity code used to classify goods for customs and trade purposes. It determines the rate of import duty applicable in the destination country and is required on all export documentation. We ensure every shipment carries the correct classification code for the products supplied, helping to prevent delays or issues at customs.
Can I buy UK solar and heating products for use in the United States?
Yes. We regularly receive enquiries from customers in the United States interested in our solar energy equipment, heat pumps and heating solutions. Please be aware that some products are designed for the UK electricity supply (230V, 50Hz) and may require voltage conversion or adaptors for use in the US (120V/240V, 60Hz). We recommend discussing technical compatibility with us before ordering. Our team is happy to advise on which products are suitable for international use.
Can I buy UK solar products for use in the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.)?
Absolutely. Many of our solar panels, off-grid solar systems, battery storage units and inverters are well suited for use in the Middle East, where high solar irradiance makes solar energy particularly effective. Most Gulf countries use a 220–240V, 50Hz electrical supply similar to the UK, meaning many products are directly compatible. We encourage you to enquire and our team will advise on the best products for your region and climate.
What if my order is damaged during international transit?
All items are carefully packaged for international shipment. We recommend that you inspect your delivery on arrival and report any visible damage to us within 48 hours by emailing orders@qualityheating.co.uk with photographs. Shipping insurance options can be discussed as part of your quotation process.
How do I pay for an international order?
Once your shipping quote is agreed, we will issue a formal invoice. We accept international bank transfers (SWIFT/IBAN) and major credit/debit cards. Full payment terms will be outlined on your invoice. All prices are quoted in GBP (British Pounds Sterling).
