The premium colour touchscreen shows the current floor or air temperature, target temperature, heating status, a 7-day weather forecast, and time — all at a glance. Customise the background image, standby style (temperature, time, or minimalist), and brightness for active, standby, and night modes.

Ships with a 3 m NTC 10K floor sensor (extendable to 50 m). The 7iE supports dual-sensor operation — floor control with air limit, air control with floor limit, or regulator mode — covering all electric UFH, hydronic, and central heating applications from one device.

The 7iE is fully compliant with EcoDesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1103 and Directive 2014/53/EU (RED), and is manufactured by Warmup — a company aligned with the UN Race to Zero initiative. It carries an ErP Class IV energy efficiency rating.
Programme
Up to 6 periods per day, individually programmable per day or as weekday/weekend blocks. Setback and sleep temperatures apply outside comfort periods.
Manual
Fixed target temperature maintained until another mode is selected. Ideal for holiday lets or rooms with irregular use.

Override the schedule with a lower temperature over a defined date range to save energy while you're away.
Frost Protection
Maintains a minimum 7 °C floor or air temperature to protect the building and floor structure when heating is otherwise off.

What makes the 7iE different from the 6iE?
The 7iE adds native Matter protocol support — the industry-standard smart home connectivity layer — which means it integrates directly with Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa from a single setup without proprietary bridges or adapters. It also provides access to Warmup Smartcare remote diagnostics, which is not available on the 6iE.
Does the 7iE work with underfloor heating only, or can it control central heating too?
The 7iE is compatible with electric UFH, hydronic (water) UFH, and central heating systems (combi and system boilers with a 230 V AC switch live input). For extra-low-voltage or volt-free boilers, an external contactor is required — the 7iE should never be connected directly to such boilers.
How does SmartGeo work, and do I need to set up a schedule?
SmartGeo is enabled via the MyHeating app and uses your smartphone's background location to detect when you leave and return home. It lowers the heating automatically on departure and brings it back to comfort temperature in time for your return. No heating schedule is required — SmartGeo manages everything automatically, potentially saving up to 25% on energy.
Can the floor sensor cable be extended beyond 3 m?
Yes. The included NTC 10K sensor comes with a 3 m cable, but it can be extended up to 50 m if needed to reach the thermostat position from the floor. The sensor connections are polarity-free, making extension straightforward. If replacing an existing thermostat, check the sensor type in Advanced Settings and match it accordingly.
What is Warmup Smartcare and how does it help?
Smartcare is Warmup's remote heating support service, available exclusively to 7iE users. It monitors your heating system in real time using data from the thermostat and provides proactive diagnostics and instant expert technical advice. Most issues can be resolved remotely, without the need to book an engineer visit — and it helps optimise your system's energy performance over time.
Is the 7iE available in other colours?
Yes. The 7iE is available in two colourways: Onyx Black with Dark Chrome trim (model 7IE-01-OB-DC, shown here) and Bright Porcelain with Light Chrome trim (model 7IE-01-BP-LC). Both share identical features and specifications.
