Description

The Vaillant VDM 10 pump group without mixer (0020191817) is a pre-assembled, insulated hydraulic module for a direct heating circuit running at the generator flow temperature. It combines a high-efficiency circulation pump (EEI < 0.23) with two ball shut-off valves with integrated thermometers, one of which includes a gravity brake (non-return function), all inside a fitted insulation shell. Flow and return connections are Rp 1.

It has no mixing valve or actuator, which keeps the unit compact and simple to fit. It is rated for water temperatures up to 95 °C and operating pressure up to 6 bar, and the pump runs from a standard 230 V / 50 Hz supply.

This group does not include a mixing valve or actuator. It is intended for circuits that run at the generator flow temperature. If a zone needs a lower, controlled flow temperature (for example underfloor heating alongside radiators), a mixing pump group is required instead.

Installation & safety

Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a competent heating engineer and electrician in line with the manufacturer's instructions and BS 7671. Isolate the electrical supply before working on the pump, and allow the system to cool and depressurise before servicing.
