Compatibility: This is the wired VRT380, not the wireless VRT 380f. It is intended for compatible Vaillant eBUS heat generators, it is not a universal replacement for a mains switching thermostat. Available functions depend on the installed system.

ErP documentation difference: The product data sheet lists control class V and a 3.0% contribution to seasonal room heating efficiency. The installation manual lists class VI and 4.0% for weather compensated control with the room thermostat function enabled. These are configuration dependent figures, not guaranteed energy bill savings, confirm the applicable classification for the installation.

Positioning tip: Keep the room thermostat clear of furniture and curtains. Where it controls the room temperature, the manual instructs users to keep that room’s thermostatic radiator valves fully open.

The VRT 380 is wired and communicates through Vaillant eBUS. It should not be confused with the VRT 380f wireless version.

Will this thermostat work with any boiler?
