Description

The Vaillant 0020191814 mixing pump group is a pre-assembled, insulated hydraulic module that supplies a mixed, lower-temperature heating circuit from a higher-temperature generator flow. It combines a high-efficiency circulation pump (EEI < 0.23), a three-way mixing valve with actuator (Rp ½, Kvs 2.5) and two ball shut-off valves with integrated thermometers, one of which includes a gravity brake, all inside a fitted insulation shell. Flow and return connections are Rp 1.

It is the right choice for circuits such as underfloor heating that need a lower flow temperature than the rest of the system. The group is rated for water temperatures up to 95 °C and operating pressure up to 6 bar, and the mixer and pump run from a 230 V / 50 Hz supply.

The mixing valve is rated Kvs 2.5 (Rp ½). Size it against your circuit's design flow rate and pressure drop. If you need more capacity, Vaillant offers mixing groups with larger valves (Rp ¾ and Rp 1), and an unmixed group is available for circuits running at generator flow temperature.

Installation & safety

Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a competent heating engineer and electrician in line with the manufacturer's instructions and BS 7671. Isolate the electrical supply before working on the pump or actuator, and allow the system to cool and depressurise before servicing.

Protects low-temperature circuits

A mixing group lets underfloor heating and other low-temperature zones run at their own controlled flow temperature, alongside circuits at the full system temperature.
