Description

The Trinasolar TS4 connector is the manufacturer's own genuine male and female PV connector pair, engineered to terminate and extend Trinasolar solar module cables. Rated to a 1500V IEC/UL system voltage and carrying up to 55A depending on cable cross-section, it delivers a secure, low-resistance connection built for a full 25-30 year PV system lifetime. TS4 connectors are supplied as male (TS4-M) or female (TS4-F) in six cable-OD/conductor variants each (1 through 6). Always match the cable outer diameter and conductor cross-section (mm² / AWG) against the variant table below before ordering — an incorrectly matched connector can compromise the IP68 seal and create a safety risk.

Installation by Qualified Personnel Only

Trinasolar's installation instructions require that TS4 connectors are fitted only by suitably qualified and trained installers, using the correct crimping tool and Trinasolar's own strip/rivet clamp and plastic spanner toolkit. Never connect or disconnect under load, and only carry out work when the system is fully de-energised.

What's the difference between TS4-M and TS4-F?

TS4-M is the male (pin) connector and TS4-F is the female (socket) connector. A complete, sealed string connection requires one of each, correctly mated together.

Is TS4 compatible with standard MC4 connectors?

TS4 connectors are designed and certified to mate with other genuine Trinasolar TS4 connectors. Trinasolar's own transition documentation notes the TS4 system was engineered to match or exceed the performance of legacy MC4-type connectors, but for a guaranteed IP68 seal and full certification, always pair TS4 with TS4.

Which variant and cable size do I need?
