The ThermoSphere Convector Panel Heater is a lightweight, fast-acting electric wall heater built for rooms that need instant, direct convection heat without the weight or heat-up time of an oil-filled radiator. A tubular heating element behind an aluminium fascia draws in cool air at the base and releases warm air through the top of the unit, bringing a room up to temperature quickly.
It's EcoDesign Lot 20 compliant and controlled via a built-in electronic thermostat with LCD display, and is available across four outputs from 500W to 2000W to suit anything from a small bathroom to a larger, well-insulated living space.

Rapid Direct Convection Heat
A tubular heating element warms air drawn in at the base of the unit, releasing it through the top face for fast, direct room heating — ideal for spaces used intermittently where instant warmth matters more than retained heat.
Three Heating Modes
Cycle between Comfort, Economy and Frost-Free modes directly from the LCD control panel, giving flexibility between full heat, reduced running costs, and basic frost protection when a room is unoccupied.
Open Window Detection
The heater automatically detects a sudden drop in room temperature consistent with an open window or door, switching off to avoid wasting energy heating the outdoors, and resumes once temperature stabilises.
Aluminium Heat Exchanger Fins
The core of the unit uses aluminium heat exchanger fins for efficient heat transfer from the element to the room air, improving thermal performance over basic bar elements.
Overheat Protection Switch
A built-in overheat protection switch automatically cuts power to the heating element if an unsafe internal temperature is detected, protecting the unit and the room around it.
24/7 Programmable Schedule
The 24/7 programmable timer lets the heater follow a repeating weekly schedule, so rooms are warm when needed and idle when they're not, without manual switching.

Can this heater be installed in a bathroom?
It carries an IP24 protection rating, which permits installation outside Zones 1 and 2 in a bathroom. Always confirm the specific zone against BS 7671 Section 701 before installing in a wet room or bathroom.
Which output do I need for my room?
Use the good/poor insulation area figures in the specification table above and round up to the next available output. Two heaters can be combined in a single room to reach a higher combined output if needed.
Does it need a separate room thermostat?
No. The electronic thermostat with 24/7 programmable timer is built into each unit, so no external room thermostat is required for standalone operation.
What is the warranty on this heater?
