Description

The Solis S6 50kW three-phase solar inverter (part number S6-GC3P50K04-NV-ND) is a transformerless string inverter for commercial and industrial PV systems. It combines 50 kW rated AC output, an integrated DC switch, MC4 DC connectors and a sealed IP66 enclosure suited to outdoor installation.

With 4 independent MPPT trackers and 8 string inputs, the inverter gives designers flexible string layouts across multiple roof planes. Each MPPT input handles up to 40 A, and a DC/AC ratio above 150% lets high-power modules be paired without compromise. Yield is protected by 98.6% maximum efficiency, 98.1% European efficiency and over 99.5% MPPT efficiency.

Built-in protection includes Type II DC and AC surge protection, string monitoring, I-V curve scanning and multi-peak scanning, while Bluetooth and app commissioning, SolisCloud monitoring, remote upgrade and RS485 communication cover setup and ongoing monitoring.

Rated AC output current is 72.2 A per phase at 400 V, well above the 16 A per phase limit for G98. A G99 application to the Distribution Network Operator is therefore required before connection. Installation must be carried out by a competent electrician in line with BS 7671.

Compatibility and options

A three-phase four-wire (3/N/PE) supply at 230 V / 400 V is required, with the neutral connected. Wi-Fi and GPRS data logging, integrated AFCI 2.0 and PID recovery are listed as optional in the manufacturer datasheet. Please contact us before ordering if your project depends on any of these.
