SolaX X3-MEGA G2 40kW 3-Phase String Inverter

Description

The SolaX X3-MEGA G2 is a three-phase commercial string inverter in 40kW, 50kW and 60kW ratings, built for medium-scale commercial rooftops. It offers up to 98.4% efficiency, up to 6 MPP trackers with 2 strings each, 32A per tracker and a wide 180~1000V MPPT range.

It supports 150% PV oversizing and 110% AC overloading, is IP66 rated with Type II AC and DC surge protection, and adds smart string current monitoring, I-V curve diagnosis, built-in export power control and night-time reactive power compensation. Optimised heat dissipation makes the system over 10% lighter and smaller.

Commercial PV installations must be designed and installed by competent persons to BS 7671, with grid connection agreed under G99. Follow MCS guidance where applicable. DC strings up to 1100V carry a serious shock and arc risk.

How much PV can I connect?

With 150% oversizing the maximum recommended PV array is 60kWp, 75kWp and 90kWp for the 40kW, 50kW and 60kW models.

How many MPP trackers does each model have?

The 40kW has 4, the 50kW has 5, and the 60kW has 6, each with two strings and up to 32A per tracker.

Is it suitable for outdoor mounting?

Yes. It is IP66 rated with an operating range up to 60°C, derating above 45°C.

Does it have export limiting?
