Description

The SolaX Series Box is the connection unit that lets you build a two-tower T-BAT battery system when you go above nine battery modules. It is designed for the T-BAT-SYS-HV-S2.5 and T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 (TP-HS3.6) high-voltage battery ranges and is supplied with a base so the second tower sits securely alongside the first.

With IP65 protection it suits indoor and outdoor installations, and the pre-engineered connection removes the guesswork from joining two stacks. That makes it the practical route to a larger LiFePO4 energy store while keeping the SolaX modular, plug-and-play design.

Important Safety Information

High-voltage battery systems must be installed and commissioned by a competent, qualified installer following the manufacturer's installation guide and BS 7671. Battery storage installations should also follow MCS guidance and the relevant G98/G99 notification requirements.

When do I need a Series Box?

When your system has more than nine battery modules. Beyond that point the modules must be arranged in two towers, and the Series Box connects them.

Which batteries does it work with?

The T-BAT-SYS-HV-S2.5 and T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 high-voltage systems. For any other SolaX battery range, check the relevant installation guide before ordering.

Is the base included?

Yes. It is supplied as a Series Box plus base.

Can I install it outdoors?

The Series Box is IP65 rated, which is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Always follow the installation guide for clearances and mounting conditions.

Do I still need a BMS unit?

Yes. The T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6 datasheet lists a BMS as part of the system, so it is still required. Check the installation guide for how many BMS units and Series Boxes your module count needs.
