The Sigenergy SigenStack Base MAIN-1C is the floor-standing foundation of the Main stack in a SigenStack 1C commercial battery system. It carries the SigenStack BC M2-1C-BST battery controller at the top of the stack and supports up to seven SigenStack BAT 12.0 battery modules in between, with integrated power and communication connections so the stack goes together without complex site wiring.
Every SigenStack system starts with one Main Base. Specified for 1C high-rate systems, it is the right starting point when the project calls for higher charge and discharge rates, and it extends with Base SUB-1C units for further stacks. The complete system is IP66 rated and works with the Sigen C&I Hybrid Inverter series.

Main stack only. The Base MAIN works with the BC-BST controller, while the Base SUB works with the SigenStack Cover. Each system needs one Base MAIN; add Base SUB-1C (11180007) for any further stacks.

Base only. The battery controller (BC M2-1C-BST, 11140002), BAT 12.0 battery modules and the inverter are supplied separately. Sigenergy specifies 1C bases with the 1C-BST controller in its 1C configurations, so select components to match the same rate class.
Important Safety Information
SigenStack is heavy, high-voltage DC equipment (operating range up to 1,100 V; each BAT 12.0 module weighs 105 kg). It must be installed and commissioned by a competent, qualified electrician in line with BS 7671, the Sigenergy installation guide and local building and fire-protection requirements (Sigenergy references NFPA 855). The installation guide requires a level, solid, non-combustible surface with sufficient load-bearing capacity, and a lifting plan prepared for the modules. Do not use a battery module that has been dropped.

Do I need a Main Base for every SigenStack system?
Yes. Every SigenStack system is built around one Base MAIN, which carries the BC-BST battery controller on the Main stack. Further stacks use Base SUB-1C.
How many battery modules fit on the Main stack?
The installation guide allows 1 to 7 BAT 12.0 modules on the Main stack, while the system as a whole needs at least 4 modules and supports up to 21 (253 kWh).
Can I use this base in a 0.5C system?
This is the 1C base. Sigenergy's 1C configurations use the BC M2-1C-BST, Base MAIN-1C and Base SUB-1C together, with separate 0.5C components for 0.5C systems.
What else do I need to complete a Main stack?
You need the BC M2-1C-BST controller, the BAT 12.0 modules and a compatible Sigen C&I Hybrid Inverter. The installer also supplies an outdoor single-core copper PE cable of at least 25 mm² for the Base MAIN and the DC power cable between the inverter and controller.
Can it be installed outdoors?
The SigenStack system is IP66 rated for indoor or outdoor use. It must stand on a level, non-combustible surface such as concrete with enough load-bearing capacity, and the battery rack must be secured as described in the installation guide.
