Schletter Rapid Cross Connector | 129063-000

Description

The Schletter Rapid Cross Connector joins two mounting rails at right angles, letting installers build cross-rail arrangements for changed module layouts, ballasted flat roof systems, or improved airflow beneath the array.

It fastens to any rail with a standard Schletter KlickNut M8 channel and uses a single central bolt for quick assembly, with a hook-in and clamp technique that structurally optimises how forces are distributed to resist twisting under asymmetric loads.

Key Features

Single-Bolt Fixing

One central fastening point with a single bolt secures the connector in place, speeding up assembly compared with multi-bolt cross connections.

Optimised Load Distribution

A hook-in and clamp technique structurally optimises how forces are shared across the joint, helping prevent profiles from twisting under uneven loading.

Fits Any Standard M8 KlickNut Rail

Compatible with any rail carrying the standard Schletter KlickNut M8 channel, giving broad use across Schletter rail ranges.

Extends Rapid System Benefits to Cross-Rails

Brings the fast, click-based installation approach of the Rapid system to cross-rail configurations, not just standard in-line rail runs.

Fitted From Above, No Extra Tools

Mounts from above with no additional tool required beyond what's needed to tighten the single retaining bolt.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a cross connector used for?

It joins two mounting rails at right angles, useful for cross-rail layouts, ballasted flat roof systems, or changing module orientation part-way through an array.

What rail types does this connector fit?

Any rail carrying the standard Schletter KlickNut M8 channel.

How many bolts does it need?

Just one. A single central fastening bolt secures the connector, keeping assembly quick.

Does it come pre-assembled?

Yes, it arrives completely pre-assembled and is fitted from above without additional tools beyond tightening the retaining bolt.

How does it resist twisting under load?

Its hook-in and clamp design structurally optimises how forces are distributed across the connection, helping prevent the joined profiles from twisting under asymmetric loading.
