The Samsung R290 Integrated Heat Pump range comprises high‑temperature, integrated monobloc air‑to‑water heat pumps with built‑in hydraulics and natural R290 refrigerant, available in single‑phase and three‑phase variants from 5kW to 16kW.
Product Description
Each unit is an outdoor monobloc that incorporates the refrigerant circuit, primary pump, expansion vessel, flow and pressure sensors, safety valve and control electronics in a single casing, removing the need for a separate hydro box. Using R290, the units can deliver high flow temperatures suitable for radiator systems and high‑temperature DHW cylinders, making them well suited for boiler replacement and retrofit as well as new‑builds.
Key Features
- Natural R290 refrigerant: very low GWP with high flow‑temperature capability for efficient high‑temperature heating.
- High‑temperature operation: design flow temperatures up to around 75°C, supporting legacy radiator circuits and hot‑water cylinders.
- Integrated hydraulics: factory‑fitted pump, expansion vessel, strainer, flow sensor and pressure relief valve reduce installation time and internal plant requirements.
- High efficiency and low noise: inverter‑driven compressors with A+++‑class seasonal performance (model‑dependent) and multi‑step quiet modes on the R290 Mono platform.
- Smart control ready: compatible with Samsung EHS controls and SmartThings on supported control kits for remote monitoring and scheduling.
