The Samsung MHC-300FP backup heater is a 3kW electric immersion-style backup and DHW heater designed to support Samsung heat pump systems during periods of high heat demand or low outdoor ambient temperature. Fitted in-line with the water circuit, it provides supplementary space heating and domestic hot water boost capacity, helping maintain comfort and hot water availability when the heat pump alone cannot meet demand.
Built around three individual 1kW heating coils (1.0 + 1.0 + 1.0kW), the MHC-300FP is supplied complete with an installation manual, wall mounting template, terminal block kit, screws and the temperature sensors required for both Climatehub/Hydro Unit and R290 Pump Integrated Outdoor Unit/Control Kit configurations, simplifying commissioning across the Samsung EHS range.
