The Renusol ConSole+ (Part No. R520075-K) is a fully ballasted, non-penetrative mounting system for
installing a single framed solar PV module on flat roofs (pitch up to 5°) or directly on the ground. Rather than drilling into the roof membrane, the
moulded HDPE base tray spreads the module's weight and wind load across the surface, held in place with ballast such as gravel
or paving slabs. The kit fixes the panel at a 15° tilt angle for improved solar yield and includes the base tray, aluminium and
stainless steel mounting hardware, and a U-profile clamping rail — everything needed for a single-module installation straight out
of the box.

The ConSole+ resists wind uplift through ballast weight alone (gravel, paving slabs, or similar). The amount of ballast required depends on building height, site location, ground exposure, and local wind/snow loading, and must be calculated for each installation — Renusol provides pressure and suction coefficients from wind-tunnel testing on request.
ⓘ Module Compatibility Depends on Frame Dimensions, Not Wattage
Fit is determined by the module's frame width (x) and frame height (y), not its power rating. The base R520075-K kit alone accepts modules from 895–1015 mm wide and 690–1180 mm tall. Wider modules require the R460196 elongation rail (sold separately) to extend the compatible width range up to 1160 mm.

Zero Roof Penetration

15° Optimised Tilt
The tray geometry fixes the module at a 15° angle — enough to meaningfully improve solar yield over a flat module while keeping the system's wind profile low and stable.
Fire-Tested to European Standard
ConSole+ materials are tested for fire behaviour to DIN EN ISO 11925-2 and rated Class E under DIN EN 13501-1, giving installers documented fire-performance data for planning and compliance.

Does the ConSole+ require any roof drilling or penetration?
No. The system is held in place entirely by ballast weight — typically gravel or paving slabs — placed in the tray. This avoids penetrating the roof membrane, which is one of the main reasons the ConSole+ is used on commercial and warehouse flat roofs.
How much ballast do I need?
There's no fixed figure: the required ballast weight depends on building height, site exposure, ground/roof condition, and local wind and snow loads. Renusol calculates pressure and suction coefficients from wind-tunnel testing and provides these on request for project-specific ballast sizing.
What size solar panel fits this kit?
The standard R520075-K kit fits modules with a frame width of 895–1015 mm and a frame height of 690–1180 mm. For wider modules (up to 1110 mm), the R460196 elongation rail extends the compatible width range — this is sold separately and is not included in this kit.
Can this kit be used for ground-mounted arrays as well as roofs?
Yes. The same R520075-K kit is suitable for both flat-roof and direct ground mounting, including open sites and landfill or brownfield installations, provided ballast is sized appropriately for the location.
