Reina Weekly Thermostatic Control Unit - 7-Day Programmable Electric Radiator Thermostat

Description

The Reina Weekly Thermostatic Control Unit is a 7-day, 24-hour programmable thermostat for compatible Reina electric and dual-fuel radiators, letting heating be scheduled to match daily routines rather than left running on a single fixed setting.

Its day-and-hour display shows the current programme at a glance, while a simple on/off toggle covers rooms that don't need a full weekly schedule. A wide 7–35°C adjustment range with visible comfort markers, child lock and an IP44 rating make it a straightforward, safe upgrade over a basic manual dial.

🔴 Compatible radiators only

This control unit must only be fitted to a Reina radiator or towel rail approved for electric or dual-fuel operation. Confirm compatibility with the specific radiator model before ordering.

True weekly programming

Unlike a simple timer, the unit supports independent scheduling across all seven days, so weekday and weekend heating patterns can differ — useful for rooms used on different schedules through the week.

Day-and-hour display

The display shows which day and hour the current programme step applies to, making it easy to check or adjust the active schedule without needing a manual or app.

Simple on/off override

For rooms that don't need a weekly programme, the on/off feature gives straightforward manual control without disturbing the underlying schedule.

Wide comfort range

Adjustable from 7°C to 35°C with a visible comfort range marked on the display, covering everything from frost protection to a warm, fast-drying towel rail.

Child lock

A built-in child lock prevents accidental changes to the programme or temperature setting, useful in family bathrooms.

Five finish options

Available in Anthracite, Black, Chrome, White and Brushed Brass to match the radiator or towel rail it's paired with.

🟢 Control head, not a wattage-rated element

The Weekly Thermostatic Control Unit is a control head rather than a self-contained heating element with its own wattage rating — it is supplied as a single unit per finish and pairs with the wattage of the radiator or element it is fitted to.

Can I set different schedules for weekdays and weekends?

Yes. The control unit supports independent programming across all seven days, so you can run a different heating pattern on weekdays than at weekends.

Does it include a wattage rating?

No — this is a control head rather than a wattage-rated heating element. It's supplied per finish and controls whichever compatible radiator or element it is paired with.

Can I just use it as a simple on/off switch?

Yes. The unit's on/off feature lets you bypass weekly programming entirely for rooms that don't need a schedule.

Can I fit this to any radiator?

No. It must only be fitted to a Reina radiator or towel rail approved for electric or dual-fuel use. Check the specific radiator's product page for confirmed compatibility before ordering.

Is it safe for bathroom installation?

Yes. The unit carries an IP44 ingress protection rating and is Class I electrically classified, suitable for typical UK bathroom zones when installed per BS 7671 wiring regulations. Confirm the correct zone rating with a qualified electrician.
