The Reina Slimline Horizontal Radiator is a mild steel designer radiator with a single ultra-slim 13mm flat-fronted panel and a consistent 600mm height. Available in six lengths from 400mm to 1400mm and in White or textured Anthracite, it fits under windows, along feature walls and into kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and offices where a low, wide emitter works best.
Reina publishes heat output at both ΔT50°C and ΔT30°C, so installers can size the radiator for a boiler or a lower-temperature heat pump system with confidence. The pipe centres match the radiator length for a straightforward like-for-like swap, and every radiator carries a 5-year manufacturer guarantee.
Designed for central heating only, it is supplied without valves; the recommended Reina Modal TRV and Drayton TRV4 options are shown below.

Central Heating Only
This radiator is suitable for central heating (wet) systems only. It must not be fitted with electric or dual-fuel heating elements or valves.
Sizing Tip: Compare Outputs at the Right Temperature
Outputs on this page are the manufacturer's published figures at ΔT50°C (the current UK and European rating) and ΔT30°C, which is more representative of low-temperature heat pump systems (for example a 55°C flow and 45°C return in a 20°C room). Older brochure figures quoted at ΔT70°C look noticeably higher but are not like-for-like, so always size against the ΔT50 or ΔT30 columns.
Ultra-slim flat panel
A single, smooth flat-fronted panel just 13mm deep gives a crisp, minimal look, with the front of the radiator only 62-87mm from the wall.
Durable mild steel
Made from robust mild steel for efficient heat transfer and a long service life, finished in White or textured Anthracite.
Six lengths, one height
A uniform 600mm height with 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400mm lengths makes it easy to fill the available wall width, for example under a window, with a consistent look.
Pipe centres match the length
The pipe centres equal the radiator length (400-1400mm), simplifying like-for-like replacements. Add 90mm to the pipe centre figure for the overall measurement including valves.
Output published at ΔT50 and ΔT30
Manufacturer outputs at ΔT50°C and ΔT30°C let installers size confidently for boilers and low-temperature heat pump systems alike.
5-year guarantee
Backed by a 5-year manufacturer guarantee for confidence in the long-term quality of the radiator.

Recommended Valves & Accessories
The Slimline is supplied without valves, so you will need a pair for each radiator. Reina's own recommendation is the Reina Modal TRV, a designer thermostatic valve and lockshield set that matches the flat, minimal look of the panel. If you prefer a conventional, widely stocked thermostatic option, the Drayton TRV4 is a proven alternative.
Valves Not Included
Radiator valves are sold separately. Choose a valve pair from the recommended options below and match the finish to your radiator.
Reina Modal TRV (recommended)
A 15mm x 15mm designer thermostatic radiator valve and lockshield with a brass body, 7-28°C temperature range, frost protection, positive shut-off and a bi-directional valve body. Rated to 10 bar and available in angled, straight and corner versions in White and Anthracite to match the radiator.
Drayton TRV4 (alternative)
Britain's best-known thermostatic head: a liquid-filled sensor, 10-30°C setting range, frost protection at approximately 8°C, a range-limiting pin and non-stick valve internals. Two-pipe bodies include pre-setting so the radiator can be balanced at the valve. 15mm compression inlet with a ½" BSP outlet, 10 bar maximum static pressure, available in white and chrome.
Reina Portland manual valves
Prefer simple on/off control? The Reina Portland 15mm manual valve pairs (angled or straight) suit a room already controlled by a room thermostat or smart zone control, and come in White, Chrome and Anthracite.
Reina Crova corner valves
The Reina Crova corner valve pair routes pipework in from the side or floor in tight positions, and is offered in White, Chrome and Anthracite finishes.
Optional Finishing Touch
A Reina radiator valve pipe sleeve kit (130mm, sold as a pair, available in White, Chrome and Anthracite) neatly covers exposed pipework rising from the floor.
Check Valve Compatibility
Valve outlets must suit the radiator tappings. Check the valve's connection type before ordering, and match the finish to your radiator: White valves for white radiators and Anthracite valves for anthracite ones.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this radiator with a heat pump?
The Slimline is a mild steel central heating radiator, so it can be used on a wet system with a heat pump. Because heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures, size it from the ΔT30°C output (or ΔT50 for higher flow temperatures) and confirm the room heat loss with a proper calculation.
Can it be used with electric or dual-fuel elements?
No. It is central heating only. Do not fit electric or dual-fuel elements or valves to this radiator.
Which valves should I use?
Reina recommends the Modal TRV valve and lockshield set in angled, straight or corner form. The Drayton TRV4 is a popular alternative with a liquid-filled sensor, frost protection and pre-setting, and the Portland or Crova manual valve pairs suit rooms where no thermostatic control is wanted. Valves are always sold separately.
How wide is the radiator with valves fitted?
The pipe centres equal the radiator length. Add 90mm to the pipe centre figure to allow for valves when checking the wall space. The front of the radiator sits 62-87mm from the wall.
Why do some listings show higher outputs?
Older Reina literature quoted outputs at ΔT70°C, which gives larger numbers than the UK standard ΔT50°C rating. The figures on this page are the current manufacturer ΔT50 and ΔT30 values, so compare them against your heat loss calculation, not against ΔT70 numbers.
What guarantee and system treatment apply?
The radiator is covered by a 5-year manufacturer guarantee. As with any steel radiator, the heating system should be cleaned and treated with a suitable inhibitor in line with BS 7593 to protect it from corrosion and sludge.
