The QH Dual 80L stores 80 litres of water. When heated to 65°C and blended to a comfortable 37°C shower temperature, the cylinder delivers approximately 222 litres of usable hot water per cycle — comfortably covering morning routines, washing up, and bathroom use for two occupants without running out mid-draw.

The unit mounts vertically on a load-bearing wall using the supplied bracket. The 1.5-metre mains lead connects to a 13A fused connection unit, or the plug can be removed for hardwired connection — giving installers flexibility on the electrical termination. The supplied pressure relief valve (PRV) must be fitted and plumbed to a safe discharge point during installation.

The zirconium-enamel inner vessel coating offers superior resistance to the pH and mineral variations found in UK mains water — especially important in hard-water regions such as the South East, Midlands, and East Anglia. Combined with the magnesium sacrificial anode (with its own condition alarm), this gives the cylinder excellent long-term corrosion protection. Installation & Trade Notes

This unit is designed for a vented (low-pressure) cold water supply. The supplied PRV must be fitted and plumbed to a safe, visible, frost-free discharge point in compliance with Water Regulations and Building Regulations Part G. Do not connect to a sealed (pressurised) system without appropriate pressure-limiting provisions. This model is vertical installation only — it cannot be mounted horizontally.

All electrical work must be carried out by a Part P-registered electrician. Connect via a 13A fused spur or remove the plug for hardwired connection. The circuit must be protected by an RCD. Water connections are ¾" BSP — a Pentec UBIC inlet combination valve is recommended and available separately. Flush the cylinder before commissioning and set the thermostat to a minimum of 60°C in accordance with HTM 04-01 (Legionella prevention).
