The Pylontech US3000C is a 48V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery module offering 3.55kWh of nominal capacity per unit, designed for residential and small commercial energy storage systems. Built on Pylontech's proven US Series platform, the US3000C is the current-generation successor to the original US3000, adding a built-in soft-start function that reduces inrush current strike when the inverter draws from the battery, along with dual active BMS-level protection and automatic address setting for multi-module stacks.
Each module houses its own integrated Battery Management System (BMS), continuously monitoring cell voltage, current and temperature to protect against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and high/low temperature conditions. Modules connect in parallel — up to 16 units per battery group — making the US3000C equally suited to a single first-time installation or a large expandable stack for growing energy demands. It is broadly compatible with hybrid inverters that support the Pylontech communication protocol, including Victron, Goodwe and other major brands.
Please Note
The US3000C's 95% depth of discharge is only available when paired with an inverter running Pylontech's latest communication protocol. On older or partially-compatible inverters, usable capacity may be limited to a lower DoD — please confirm inverter protocol support before installation.
Built-In Soft-Start
A soft-start function ramps power delivery gently when the inverter first draws from the battery, reducing current inrush and protecting connected equipment.
Dual Active BMS Protection
Two independent layers of BMS-level protection guard each cell against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and thermal extremes, with automatic cell balancing during charge/discharge cycles.
Stackable to 16 Modules
Modules connect in parallel with automatic address setting, supporting up to 16 units in a single battery group for scalable capacity as energy needs grow.
Long Cycle Life
Rated for over 6,000 cycles at 25°C and 95% depth of discharge, with a 15+ year design life, backed by a manufacturer warranty.
LiFePO4 Chemistry
Lithium iron phosphate cells offer a higher thermal runaway threshold (600°C) than NMC or LCO chemistries, giving inherently stable and safer long-term operation.
Compact 19-inch Format
A standard 19-inch rack-mount design at just 132mm high (2U) and 32kg keeps installation and maintenance straightforward in cabinets or wall-mounted racks.
Flexible Communication
Supports both RS485 and CAN bus communication, with compatibility across the US2000C, US3000 and US2000 for mixed-battery deployments.
Low Self-Discharge
Minimal self-discharge allows up to 6 months of shelf storage without recharging, with no memory effect and strong shallow-cycle performance.

Important Safety Information
Installation must be carried out by a competent, qualified installer in line with local electrical safety standards. The battery's embedded BMS is designed for 48VDC only — modules must never be wired in series. A suitable DC-rated breaker (Type C or D, ≥60V DC rating) must be fitted between the battery system and inverter.
