Can extend the heat pump warranty

Panasonic state that fitting and maintaining this adapter through an accredited installer can enhance the air source heat pump warranty length, subject to terms and conditions — worth confirming with your installer at the point of purchase.

CN-CNT port availability

The CZ-TAW1C connects via the Aquarea's dedicated CN-CNT port, available only on H and J Generation systems. If your heat pump is already integrated into a BMS project, this port may already be in use — check before ordering.

Key features

Full remote control

Homeowners can switch the system on/off, adjust house and DHW temperatures, and set schedules from anywhere with an internet connection, via the Aquarea Smart Cloud app or browser.

Installer remote maintenance

The Aquarea Service Cloud gives accredited installers remote access to diagnostics, error codes and system setup — reducing the need for site visits to resolve straightforward faults.

Up to two heating zones

Supports monitoring and control across up to two independent heating zones, matching systems with underfloor heating and radiators on separate circuits.

Energy consumption monitoring

Tracks power consumption estimates and operation history, giving homeowners visibility into running costs and system behaviour over time.

IFTTT integration

Supports IFTTT (If This Then That) automation — trigger actions based on other apps, services or devices, such as voice assistant integration or automatic heat-mode activation.

Flexible network connection

Connects to the home router via Wi-Fi or wired LAN, giving installers flexibility over where the adapter is sited relative to the indoor unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Aquarea generations is this compatible with?

H Generation onwards — the CZ-TAW1C connects via the CN-CNT port found on H and J Generation Aquarea systems.

Does this require a Panasonic ID?

Yes — homeowners need to register a free Panasonic ID at the Aquarea Smart Cloud website to control and monitor the system remotely.

Can my installer access the system remotely too?

Yes, with your consent — the Aquarea Service Cloud gives your installer remote access to diagnostics, error codes and system setup, which can speed up fault resolution.

Where is the adapter fitted?

For All-in-One or bi-bloc systems, near or inside the indoor unit. For monobloc systems, inside the house. Refer to the installation instructions for the exact location on your specific Aquarea model.

Does this affect my BUS grant eligibility?

No — genuine Panasonic accessories fitted as part of an MCS-certified install do not affect grant eligibility; they're part of the overall system design.
