Mitsubishi FTC Wireless Controller Transmitter (PAR-WT60R-E) — Room Unit

Description

The PAR-WT60R-E is the room-side wireless transmitter for the Mitsubishi FTC wireless controller pair. It mounts in the living area (rather than next to the cylinder) and broadcasts room temperature and setpoint data wirelessly to the matching PAR-WR61R-E receiver. Ideal for installs where the FTC controller is in an inaccessible airing cupboard or utility room.

The wireless transmitter only works as a pair — you'll also need the matching PAR-WR61R-E Wireless Receiver, sold separately. The receiver wires into the FTC controller in the cylinder cabinet.

Key features

Wireless Room Control

Locate the user interface in the living space, away from the cylinder — no long cable runs back to the controller.

Room Temperature Sensing

Controls flow temperature based on actual occupied-space temperature, not the airing cupboard's ambient — significantly better control quality.

Backlit Display

Clear backlit LCD display with intuitive setpoint and schedule controls — homeowner-friendly interface.

Battery Powered

No wiring required at the room location — mount it on the wall or sit it on a shelf. Battery life typically 12–18 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I just buy the transmitter and use my existing wired FTC controller?

No — the wireless transmitter pairs only with the matching PAR-WR61R-E receiver. You need both items. The wired FTC controller in the cylinder remains active as the back-end logic; the wireless pair becomes the user interface.

What's the wireless range?

Around 30 m in open conditions, but UK domestic walls reduce this. For typical installs the transmitter works reliably between the living room and an airing cupboard one or two floors away. Test placement before final fixing.

Does it need batteries?

Yes — the transmitter is battery-powered for flexibility in placement. Battery life is typically 12–18 months depending on usage.

Can I add a second wireless room unit for two zones?

The FTC7 supports two-zone heating. Some configurations allow a second transmitter per zone — check the Mitsubishi compatibility matrix with your installer.
