The Mitsubishi Ecodan FTC7 Pre-Plumbed Cylinder 150 L Slimline (EHPT15X-UKHLEWS) is a factory pre-plumbed and pre-wired unvented water heater built on a narrower cabinet for installations where cupboard width is limited. Designed specifically for use with the Ecodan PUZ-WZ and PUZ-(H)WM air source heat pump range, its high-grade duplex stainless steel tank offers exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. Comes complete with the FTC7 controller, circulating pumps, plate heat exchanger, 3-way diverter valve, scale trap, low loss header, flow sensor and a 3 kW immersion heater — all pre-fitted at the factory.

G3-qualified installer required
This is an unvented hot water cylinder. UK Building Regulations require the DHW side to be commissioned by a G3-qualified installer. Failure to install and commission per Mitsubishi's instructions may invalidate the warranty.
MCS-certified installer required
To claim the BUS grant and validate full Mitsubishi manufacturer warranty, this cylinder must be installed and commissioned by an MCS-certified heat pump installer.
Slimline vs Standard — why choose the narrower cabinet
The Slimline range uses a narrower footprint than the Standard range, at the cost of slightly thinner insulation (50 mm vs Standard's 60 mm) and marginally higher standing heat loss. Choose Slimline where airing-cupboard width is the limiting factor for your installation; choose Standard where cabinet width isn't a constraint, for the best standing-loss performance at this capacity.

A slimmer footprint than the Standard range, purpose-built for installations where airing-cupboard or plant-room width is constrained.
Fully pre-plumbed and pre-wired
Ships with the heat pump circulating pump, heating zone 1 circulating pump, DHW circulating pump, plate heat exchanger, 3-way diverter valve, scale trap, low loss header and flow sensor all factory-fitted and pre-wired — the installer connects primary, DHW, cold feed and electrics with no on-site hydraulic assembly.
FTC7 control platform
Includes the FTC7 controller with flow and return thermistors and cylinder thermistors — single or two-zone heating control, weather compensation and full compatibility with Mitsubishi's wider Ecodan control ecosystem.
3 kW immersion backup
Fitted immersion heater with thermal cut-out provides backup DHW heating and supports the system's Legionella protection routine.
Wi-Fi adaptor included
Ships with a Wi-Fi adaptor pre-wired to the FTC7 controller, ready for the installer to locate and mount for MELCloud remote control, monitoring, maintenance and technical support.
