Description

The Mersen HelioProtection Modulostar fuse holder CUS101HEL is a DIN rail mounting, single-pole fuse holder for Mersen HelioProtection 10 × 38mm PV string fuses. It is rated 1000V DC, 32A and takes rigid cable from 1 to 16mm².

Modulostar holders are widely used in low voltage distribution and are specially adapted for PV and DC applications. The plastic parts are UL94 V0 to V2 rated, the holder is RoHS compliant and has IP2X finger protection. Fit it with a Mersen HP6M or HP10M gPV fuse.

Safety and compliance

Fuse holders must not be operated under load. Installation by a competent person in line with BS 7671. Where mounting with an SPD, check that the SPD's protection level is compatible with the holder's 6kV impulse withstand.

Polarity layout

Where possible, lay out the equipment so that positive and negative polarities are kept separate, because non-insulated conductive parts remain exposed.

Can I switch the circuit with the holder?

No. Do not operate the fuse holder under load. Isolate the circuit first.

What cable can I connect?

Rigid cable from 1 to 16mm². Use a PZ2 or 5.5 × 1mm flat screwdriver and do not exceed the maximum torque.

Does it have a blown fuse indicator?

The CUS101HEL listing does not include one. Mersen offers a separate version of the series with a blown fuse indicator light.

How is it mounted?
