Description

The Katko KEM 4200C YR MF11 200A 4-pole AC isolator is a front-operated load-break switch in an IP65 polycarbonate MF11 enclosure, built for large PV systems that need a high current rating. It is rated 200A at 400/415V (AC-21, AC-22) and 200A / 110kW (AC-23), with 200A AC-21 at 690V, and is tested to IEC 60947-3.

The self-extinguishing enclosure has excellent insulating properties, good UV resistance and a wide operating temperature range. The isolator is padlockable with up to 3 locks and has a door interlock with defeat mechanism, with a yellow and red handle for clear identification.

Safety and compliance

Isolator installation must be carried out by a competent person in line with BS 7671. Always isolate and prove dead before working on the supply side.

Not supplied with terminal accessories

This isolator does not include terminal covers, phase barriers, screws, nuts or bolts. Order the required accessories separately. Aluminium cable cannot be connected directly to the switch terminals, so use a bimetal cable connector. The datasheet series heading shows IP66 for the range, while this model's product details state IP65.

Lockable

The isolator can be padlocked with up to 3 locks for safe isolation during maintenance.
