Kamco PowerFlush FX2 is a fast-acting, acid-based flushing and descaling liquid formulated for use with Clearflow power flushing pumps, designed to clean a central heating system thoroughly in a single visit. It is a 'one shot' formula that starts working immediately once added to the system, with no need to pre-treat the system with flushing chemicals days in advance.
The liquid rapidly dissolves and mobilises rust, sludge and corrosion deposits that build up in heating systems over time as a result of poor design, air ingress, or the absence of an effective corrosion inhibitor. Removing this debris helps cure or prevent common symptoms such as cold radiators, circulator pump failure, and boiler noise caused by sludge collecting in the heat exchanger.

PowerFlush FX2 is acidic. Suitable protective clothing, gloves and goggles must be worn when handling this product. Mixing with system water can evolve flammable hydrogen gas — the working area should be well ventilated, with no smoking or other sources of ignition nearby.
Please Note: Not Suitable for Aluminium
PowerFlush FX2 is intended for systems built from steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze and plastic barrier pipework. For systems containing aluminium radiators or aluminium boiler heat exchangers, use Kamco Hyper-Flush Concentrate instead, as FX2 is not compatible with this metal.
Good to Know: Higher Dose for Difficult Systems
The standard dosage is 2.5 litres per 100 litres of system water content (roughly 10–12 radiators). Where the system has severe flow restrictions or microbore pipework, the full 5 litre dose should be used to ensure the chemical reaches every part of the circuit.
One-Visit Cleaning
Because FX2 begins working immediately on contact with system water, there is normally no need for a separate pre-treatment visit days before the power flush — saving both time on site and inconvenience for the customer.
Aggressive Descaling Action
The acidic formulation rapidly breaks down rust, limescale and corrosion deposits into smaller particles, which the Clearflow pump's high water velocity then flushes out through the dump hose.
Cures Circulation Faults
Removing accumulated sludge from the heat exchanger and radiators helps resolve cold radiators, noisy boilers, and premature circulator pump wear caused by debris restricting flow.
