The Kamco CombiMag HEAT combines a high-power magnetic power flushing filter with an integral 3 kW immersion heater in one compact unit, developed for use when a system's own boiler is not functional or not available to provide heat during the flush. An 11,000 gauss rare earth magnet removes circulating black iron oxide from the flushing water, while the built-in heater warms the water to improve the effectiveness of the flushing chemical.
Like the standard CombiMag range, it installs in line with any power flushing pump and uses a cyclone-construction transparent cylinder with a bypass valve, so the magnet can be inspected and cleaned without interrupting the flush. The heater is fitted with an LED indicator so the engineer can confirm at a glance that it's operating.

Electrical Requirement
Important: RCD Protection Required
The integral 3 kW immersion heater must be supplied through a 13A fuse used with a residual circuit breaker (RCD) adaptor. This is an electrical safety requirement and should not be bypassed, given the unit operates in direct contact with circulating system water.
Please Note: For Use When the Boiler Cannot Provide Heat
CombiMag HEAT is intended for situations where the system boiler is not functional or cannot be used to warm the flushing water — the integral heater takes over this role so the flushing chemical can still work at an effective temperature.
Good to Know: Bypass Valve for Uninterrupted Cleaning
As with the rest of the CombiMag range, the transparent cylinder and bypass valve allow the magnet to be lifted out, inspected and cleaned during the flush without needing to stop the power flushing pump.
Magnetic Debris Removal
The 11,000 gauss rare earth magnet captures circulating black iron oxide from the flushing water, preventing it from re-entering the heating system or passing back through the boiler.
Integral 3 kW Heater
A built-in 3 kW immersion heater warms the flushing water directly at the filter, allowing an effective power flush even when the system boiler is out of action.
LED Heater Indicator
An LED indicator on the unit shows at a glance whether the heater is powered and operating, without needing to check a separate control panel.
Bypass for Mid-Flush Cleaning
The bypass valve system lets the magnet be removed, cleaned and reinstalled during the job without interrupting the flow of the power flush.
Reduces Water and Time
By keeping the flushing water clear of circulating debris, CombiMag HEAT helps reduce dumping time and water consumption compared to flushing without in-line filtration.
Supplied Ready for Site
The unit comes with a protective case and 1.5m coupling hose, so it connects straight into the power flushing pump circuit.

Flushing when the system boiler cannot provide heat |
What makes CombiMag HEAT different from the standard CombiMag filter?
CombiMag HEAT adds an integral 3 kW immersion heater to the same magnetic filtration principle, so the flushing water can be heated directly at the filter rather than relying on the system boiler.
When would I need to use CombiMag HEAT instead of a standard CombiMag?
It's intended for situations where the system boiler is not functional or otherwise unavailable to warm the flushing water during a power flush.
What electrical supply does the heater need?
The 3 kW immersion heater runs from a 240V, 50Hz supply and must be protected by a 13A fuse used with a residual circuit breaker (RCD) adaptor.
Can the magnet be cleaned without stopping the power flush?
Yes. The bypass valve allows the magnet to be taken out of circulation, inspected and cleaned, then switched back in without interrupting the flushing pump.
How do I know the heater is working?
The unit has a built-in LED indicator that shows when the immersion heater is powered and operating.
