The Intatec 28mm Auto Air Eliminator (IV28), also known as the Inta-Vent deaerator, is an in-line device designed to tackle the microbubbles and trapped air that build up in sealed heating systems. Rather than simply venting air that has already collected at a high point, it actively pulls dissolved air out of the circulating fluid as it passes through — addressing the problem at its source.

Fluid entering the unit passes through a wound coil of stainless-steel mesh, which creates a vortex inside the filter body. This encourages microscopic air bubbles to form and combine on the mesh surface; as they grow, they rise to the top of the unit where they're automatically discharged through the integrated air vent. The result is a system that runs quieter, suffers less component wear, and holds its heat more evenly.
