Description

The GSE Top Centre Flashing forms the main run of top flashing along the upper edge of a GSE In-Roof System array, shedding water away from the top row of PV modules and onto the surrounding roof covering.

Supplied at 1500mm long in black, it is fitted with an attach angle using pop rivets, positioned so the module frame thickness sits between the attach angle and the flashing, then joined to adjacent sections using top junction flashings.

Important Safety Information

GSE's top flashing is designed with a 14° slope to shed water above the top row of modules. The installer must confirm the roof pitch is steep enough to prevent water retention; on borderline slopes, GSE recommends using a thicker support lath or substituting a flexible flashing strip.

Primary Top-of-Array Flashing

Runs along the top edge of the PV field, directing water away from the uppermost row of modules.

Matched Black Finish

Finished in black to match the GSE In-Roof frame, clamps and flashing kit.

Engineered Water-Shedding Slope

Manufactured with a built-in 14° slope to actively shed water clear of the top row of modules.

Attach Angle Fixing

Joined to the attach angle using pop rivets, positioned so the module frame thickness sits correctly between the two parts.

Connects to Junction and Corner Pieces

Designed to link with top junction flashings (100mm minimum overlap) and corner flashings at each end of the run.

Secured with Flashing Hooks

Fixed to the roof battens using flashing hooks, at least two per piece, with a precompressed seal applied over the joint.
