Glow-worm MiPro Sense SRC 720 Wired Weather Compensation | 0020260975

Description

The Glow-worm MiPro Sense (SRC 720) is a weather-compensated system control for Glow-worm boilers, hybrid systems and GeniaAir heat pumps, supplied in two versions: the wired SRC 720 with a wired outdoor sensor (0020260975) and the wireless SRC 720F with an RF outdoor sensor (0020260981). Both use eBUS communication and a responsive semi-touch interface.

Weather compensation reads the outdoor sensor and adjusts the flow temperature for maximum efficiency, while guided installation and automatic system checks speed up commissioning. It can control up to three heating zones (with a RED-5 wiring centre and SR 92 remote controls for zones two and three), and with the MiGo Link internet gateway your customer gets smartphone control and monthly and annual energy reports on a GeniaAir.

Wired or wireless, choose the pairing

The wired MiPro Sense includes a wired outdoor sensor; the wireless version includes an RF outdoor sensor. On a GeniaAir, the wireless version’s radio receiver plugs into the CIM interface on the appliance interface. Zones two and three need a RED-5 and additional SR 92 / SR 92F remote controls.

Placement tip from the installation instructions

Install the system control in the living room as control room. With room temperature modulation active no extra room thermostat is needed there, and any existing thermostat in that room should be left fully open.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between SRC 720 and SRC 720F?

SRC 720 is wired over eBUS with a wired outdoor sensor; SRC 720F is wireless with an RF outdoor sensor and a radio receiver unit.

Do I need MiGo Link?

Only for app control. The control works without it, but the MiGo Link internet gateway is required for the MiGo Link app.

How do I get three zones?

Add a RED-5 wiring centre and SR 92 remote controls for zones two and three.

Does it work with the GeniaAir?

Yes. Glow-worm designs it to pair with the GeniaAir and HydraCyl, with energy data in the app.

Where should I mount it?

In the living room as the control room, leaving any existing thermostat fully open.
