The Genius Roof SolarFlash Profile Tile Kit is built around FlexiFlash, a flexible flashing panel designed specifically for profile concrete tiles such as Redland Regent, Double Roman, Ludlow Plus, Marley Mendip and Ludlow Major. Where the standard SolarFlash panel is rigid, FlexiFlash is made from a flexible material that moulds around the deep curvature of a profile tile, giving a weathertight seal that a rigid panel could not achieve on this tile type.
As with the rest of the SolarFlash range, the kit keeps the roof anchor bracket clear of the tile beneath it, so the bracket remains free to move without disturbing the flashing or making the tile load-bearing. The included aluminium support is essential to maintaining the shape of the flexible panel over time.

Important Safety Information: The included aluminium support must be used on every installation. It supports the flexible back of the FlexiFlash panel and prevents it from sagging over time, which would otherwise compromise the weatherproof seal.
Flexible Panel for Profile Tiles
FlexiFlash is made from a flexible material, allowing it to mould around the curvature of profile concrete tiles such as Redland Regent, Double Roman, Ludlow Plus, Marley Mendip and Ludlow Major — a shape a rigid flashing panel cannot follow.
Same Footprint as Small SolarFlash
The FlexiFlash panel shares the same 250mm x 235mm dimensions and identical 50mm x 140mm x 40mm hood as the 'small' SolarFlash used on flat and plain tiles, keeping the range consistent.
Aluminium Support Included
A metal support is supplied to reinforce the flexible back of the panel, maintaining its shape and effectiveness for the lifetime of the installation.
Weather Stop Foam Included
A foam insert seals the hood against the bracket, designed to stop wind-driven snow and rain from being carried into the roof space beneath it.
Shims for Bracket Clearance
Two wooden shims (packings) are supplied to help maintain correct clearance between the roof anchor bracket and the tile surface beneath it.
Cutting Rather Than Notching
For profile tiles it can be quicker to cut the tile cleanly around the hood rather than notch it, giving a tidier finish with less risk of tile damage.
Please Note: FlexiFlash is sized for single-lap tiles with a head lap of up to 100mm. This kit is intended for profile concrete tiles specifically — flat or plain tiles should use the separate SolarFlash Flat Tile Kit, and existing/new slate roofs should use the appropriate SolarFlash Slate Refit or Slate New Build Kit.
