Description

The FuseBox bidirectional mini RCBO, 32A B curve, 6kA, 30mA Type A (RTAMB32) provides overload, short circuit and earth leakage protection in one compact device. It has switched line and neutral (1P+N) and is Type A, sensing AC and pulsating DC up to 6mA.

The mini format increases working space inside a FuseBox consumer unit. It offers a 6kA short circuit capacity, a B curve (3 to 5 × In) trip characteristic, a 450mm flying neutral lead that can be cut to suit, and 35mm DIN rail mounting. It is built to IEC 61009-1 and IEC 61009-2-2.

Safety and testing

When insulation resistance testing, disconnect the line and neutral conductors. Installation and testing must be carried out by a competent person in line with BS 7671.

Neutral cable size

For the 32A rating the datasheet gives a 4.0mm² flying neutral cable CSA. The neutral lead is 450mm long and can be shortened to suit.
