The Big Foot Fix-it Foot is a non-penetrative recycled rubber support foot with a recessed aluminium channel, designed to carry mini split condensing units as well as pipework, ducts and cable tray. The rubber body reduces vibration and adds stability, and the channel lets you bolt a unit down with standard strut fixings.
Choose the 600 mm foot (224 kg per foot) for typical mini split outdoor units or the 1000 mm foot (295 kg per foot) for longer, heavier units. Both are 180 mm wide and 95 mm high, and a High Bloc fits underneath to add 120 mm of clearance when you need the unit lifted higher.

⚠ Wind-protected locations only
Big Foot specifies the Fix-it Foot for wind-protected environments only. The maximum load per foot must not be exceeded, so check your unit's weight against the rating before installation.
⚠ Fixings are not included
The Fix-it Foot is supplied without fixings or fittings. You will need M10 bolts and channel nuts to secure the unit to the channel. Big Foot also offers rubber pairs with a screw set if you prefer a complete kit.
ℹ Roof surfaces
Fix-it Feet suit PVC membrane, mastic asphalt, insulation and concrete roof finishes. Big Foot recommends foot fleeces on PVC membrane roofs to prevent polymer migration, and installations must follow the roof system manufacturer's guarantees and recommendations.

Frequently asked questions
How many feet do I need per outdoor unit?
Mini split condensing units are normally supported on a pair of feet, one under each mounting rail. Check the unit's mounting foot spacing and make sure the unit weight is within the per-foot rating of the foot you choose.
What is the difference between the 600 mm and 1000 mm foot?
Both are 180 mm wide and 95 mm high. The 600 mm foot is rated to 224 kg per foot and the 1000 mm foot to 295 kg per foot, so the longer foot suits larger, heavier units or those with a longer mounting footprint.
Are fixings included?
No. The Fix-it Foot is supplied without fixings. Use M10 bolts and channel nuts in the aluminium channel, or ask about Big Foot's rubber pair with screw set.
Can I use it on a flat roof?
Yes. Fix-it Feet suit PVC membrane, mastic asphalt, insulation and concrete roof finishes. Use foot fleeces on PVC membrane roofs and follow the roofing manufacturer's guidance. Suitable for wind-protected locations only.
How can I lift the unit higher?
Add a High Bloc underneath the foot to raise the unit by an extra 120 mm.
