The EnviroGuard 130mm Adjustable Solar Spike (Pack of 50, Clear) is a non-intrusive bird deterrent system designed to stop pigeons and other pests from roosting and nesting underneath solar PV arrays. Each pack contains 50 individual 500mm lengths, giving a total coverage of 25 linear metres — enough to proof a typical domestic or small commercial array perimeter.
Constructed from 304 grade stainless steel pins set into a UV-stabilised clear polycarbonate base, the spikes are adjustable and can be trimmed with wire cutters to leave a neat, straight edge suited to the roof profile. The system requires no drilling into the panel frame, so it will not affect or void any manufacturer solar panel warranty.

Fixing Method — Clips Sold Separately
This spike is fixed using EnviroGuard's Solar Panel Speed Clips (sold separately) or with a suitable strong-bond fixing adhesive. EnviroGuard recommends 6 clips per metre (3 clips per 500mm length) for the strongest, most secure fit. Speed clips are available in 30mm and 35mm sizes to suit different panel frame depths.

Is this suitable for panels that have a lip on the underside?
