No. The IQ Battery 5P can be either wall-mounted (using the included wall bracket) or floor-mounted using this pedestal kit. The pedestal is sold separately and is required if you choose the floor-mount option. Both methods are equally valid installations.
Can one pedestal support multiple IQ Battery 5P units?
