The EcoFlow PowerOcean Battery Floor Base is a genuine EcoFlow accessory designed to provide a stable, secure foundation for a floor-standing stack of PowerOcean LFP battery modules. It is intended for use with single-phase PowerOcean hybrid inverter systems, supporting the pre-integrated stacking design shared across the PowerOcean range.
The base is fixed directly to the floor using the supplied expansion bolts and provides the mounting point onto which the PowerOcean hybrid inverter and battery modules are stacked. Each PowerOcean LFP battery module features LFP (LiFePO4) cell chemistry and a built-in fire prevention module, with an IP65-rated enclosure providing strong protection against dust and water ingress for both indoor and outdoor installation.

Important Safety Information: Installation must only be carried out by a qualified, trained installer. The floor must meet the load-bearing requirements for the fully-loaded battery stack — each PowerOcean battery expansion module weighs approximately 55–59 kg. The supplied expansion bolts are intended for solid concrete floors; other floor types require appropriately rated fixings selected on-site.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this base compatible with the Ocean 2 battery range?
This floor base is designed for the original single-phase PowerOcean battery system. For Ocean 2 or Ocean 2 Plus batteries, a separate Ocean 2-specific floor base is required.
How heavy is a fully-loaded battery stack on this base?
Each PowerOcean battery expansion module weighs approximately 55–59 kg, so the total stack weight depends on the number of modules installed. The floor must meet the load-bearing requirements for the fully-loaded stack.
Can this base be used outdoors?
Yes. The base is designed to complement the IP65-rated PowerOcean battery enclosure, supporting installation in both indoor and outdoor locations, subject to the system's environmental operating limits.
What fixings are used to secure the base to the floor?
The base is secured using M6×60 expansion bolts, which are supplied with the battery and are intended for solid concrete floor construction.
Does this base require clearance around it?
Yes — a minimum of 300mm clearance should be maintained on either side of the stack, and where multiple stacks are installed together, at least 400mm should separate them.
