Frequently asked questions

Is this cable included with the PowerPulse 2 charger?

No. The PowerPulse 2 is untethered, so the cable is sold separately. You need a Type 2 charging cable to connect the charger to your car.

Which cars does it work with?

It suits any vehicle with a Type 2 charging inlet, which covers the vast majority of EVs and plug-in hybrids sold in the UK and Europe. Check your vehicle handbook if you own an older or imported model with a different inlet.

Is 7.5 m the right length for me?

Measure the distance from the wallbox to your vehicle's charge port in each position you normally park, allowing for the route the cable will take. 7.5 m gives plenty of slack for most driveways and garages, and a cable that is too short cannot be extended safely with adaptors or extension leads.

Does it need installing?

No. The cable is a plug-in accessory. The PowerPulse 2 charger itself must be installed by a qualified electrician, after which you simply connect the cable between the charger and your vehicle.
