Description

The Drayton TRV4 All White Integral Sensing Head (MPN 07 07 007) is a standalone replacement or retrofit thermostatic sensing head, sold separately from the valve body. It fits any TRV4-compatible valve body with the standard M30 x 1.5mm fitting, allowing a head-only upgrade or replacement without disturbing the pipework.

Unlike the TRV4 Classic head, which uses a white and chrome combination, this head is finished in all white throughout — suited to white radiators and installations where a fully white valve is preferred for a clean, uniform look. It carries the same liquid-filled sensor and setting range as the rest of the TRV4 range.

Can this head be fitted to any valve body?

It fits any TRV4-compatible valve body with the standard M30 x 1.5mm thread. It is not compatible with TRV3 valve bodies — a dedicated conversion head is needed for those.

Is this the same as the TRV4 Classic head?

No — the TRV4 Classic head is finished in white and chrome, while this head (07 07 007) is finished in all white throughout.

Can the head be fitted vertically and horizontally?

Yes, the sensing head can be rotated to suit either orientation, and to suit left- or right-hand installations.

What is the maximum tightening torque when fitting?

Do not overtighten the ring nut — the maximum tightening torque is 30 Nm.

How do I set frost protection?

Turn the setting dial to the frost symbol (*). The valve will then automatically open when the room temperature falls below approximately 8°C.
