The Delta Dore Tyxia 6410 (6351180) is a wireless on/off receiver with a 5 A dry contact for switching hot water and electric heating without running control cable. Use it to switch a hot water zone valve, circulator, hot water cylinder supply, electric panel heater, electric radiator or towel rail from a wireless switch, a remote control or a schedule in the Delta Dore app.
Set the output to maintained ON/OFF so the heating or hot water stays on until you switch it off, or to a pulse mode when a controller needs a trigger signal. Add a Tydom hub for time schedules, smartphone control and voice assistants. The compact 55 × 118 × 25 mm housing is IPx4 with the correct cable, and it is Class II insulated.

Typical heating and hot water uses
Hot water zone valve or circulator switched on a schedule. Electric panel heater or electric radiator switched remotely or by timer. Towel rail or small electric heater on a wireless wall switch. Hot water cylinder supply through a suitable contactor. Delta Dore specifically lists hot water zone valves among the systems it can switch through the Tydom hub.
Respect the 5 A contact rating
The contact is rated 230 V~, 5 A, cos φ = 1, which is a resistive load of roughly 1.15 kW. Larger loads, such as a typical 3 kW immersion heater or a high-output heater, and any motor or inductive load, must be switched through a correctly rated contactor. The receiver is mains powered: isolate the supply and have the installation carried out by a competent person in line with BS 7671.
On/off switching, not temperature control
The Tyxia 6410 only opens and closes its contact. It does not measure temperature or regulate a heater. For thermostatic control of electric radiators, Delta Dore offers dedicated receivers such as the RF 6620, RF 6630 and RF 6640 with a Tydom hub. Use the 6410 where simple remote or scheduled on/off switching is what you need.
Hub needed for schedules and app control
On its own the receiver works with associated wireless transmitters. Schedules, smartphone and voice control need a Tydom hub (Tydom Home replaces the earlier Tydom 1.0) connected to your router.
Key Features
Switches Hot Water Controls
Drives a zone valve or circulator from a wireless transmitter or hub schedule, with no cable between the controller and the valve.
Electric Heater and Radiator Switching
Switch electric panel heaters, radiators and towel rails on and off remotely or by timer, within the 5 A contact rating or via a contactor.
Maintained or Pulse Output
Modes C, D and E hold ON/OFF, while modes A and B send a pulse (250 ms or 4 s) for equipment that needs a trigger. Select the mode with the receiver button.
Remembers Its Last State
The receiver stores its last output status when you clear associations, which is useful during commissioning and maintenance.
Wireless and Flexible
868 MHz radio, 100 m range. Fit it 0.60 to 1.50 m from the floor for the best range, on a wall or on its base.
Smart Home Ready
Associates with a Tydom hub for app control, routines and voice assistants. Also works as a gate, garage door or lighting receiver when needed.
Operating Modes
-
Mode A: pulse output of 250 ms.
-
Mode B: pulse output of 4 seconds.
-
Modes C, D and E: maintained ON/OFF output. They differ in how the receiver can signal Tyxal+ alarm status, for example a brief indication of alarm on/off or a visual indication when sirens trigger.
- Select the mode by holding the receiver button for 3 seconds, then pressing briefly: 1 flash is mode A, 2 flashes mode B, up to 5 flashes for mode E.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Tyxia 6410 switch a hot water zone valve or circulator?
Yes. Delta Dore lists hot water zone valves among the systems it can switch on and off through the Tydom hub. Use a maintained mode (C, D or E) and check the valve or pump control requirements first.
Can I connect an electric panel heater or radiator directly?
Only if the heater draws no more than the 5 A at 230 V~ (resistive) contact rating, roughly 1.15 kW. Anything larger needs a suitable contactor. The 6410 switches power on and off only and does not regulate temperature.
Does it control temperature?
No. It is an on/off receiver. For thermostatic control of electric radiators look at the RF 6620, RF 6630 or RF 6640 receivers with a Tydom hub.
Which output mode do I choose for heating?
Choose a maintained mode (C, D or E) so the output stays on until switched off. Modes A and B send short pulses and suit equipment that needs a trigger signal.
Can I schedule it from my phone?
Yes, with a Tydom hub you can create schedules, routines and voice commands for the associated receiver.
Can it also open a gate or garage door?
Yes. The pulse modes suit motors that use a single pulse input, but the main use here is hot water and electric heating switching.
