Description

The Altecnic 519 automatic differential bypass valve (519500) with ¾" connections and an adjustable 10 to 60kPa setting range is WRAS approved. Fitted between the flow and return pipes, it opens on rising differential pressure to maintain minimum flow through the heat pump when zone valves or thermostatic radiator valves close.

The stainless steel compression spring is adjusted with the control knob (1 to 6m head) and the setting is locked with a side screw to prevent unauthorised adjustment. The valve has a female threaded inlet and male union outlet, works with water and up to 30% glycol, and can be fitted in any orientation.

Installation

Follow the direction arrow on the body. Only two joints are needed, and the valve can be fitted in any orientation.
