The Adey MagnaClean Micro 22mm Filter & Chemical Kit (FL1-03-07526) pairs Adey’s compact MagnaClean Micro magnetic filter with a 500ml bottle each of MC1 Protector and MC3 Cleaner (supplied as MC1P and MC3P), giving you everything needed to clean and protect a new or existing 22mm heating system in one pack.
The Micro is built for tight installations: a 98mm pipe cut-out, in-line 360° rotational valves with slip-coupling sockets, built-in vent and drain points and magnetic and non-magnetic debris capture. A fully removable canister lets you take out captured magnetite completely, and the filter is fully compatible with ADEY MagnaCleanse for a faster hot flush with the boiler in place.

Clean first, then protect
Clean the system as recommended in BS 7593 using MagnaCleanse and MC3 Cleaner, fit the filter, then dose MC1 Protector for ongoing protection. Each 500ml bottle treats up to 125 litres or 15 single panel radiators. MC3 starts working within about an hour and can stay in the system for up to 28 days.
Compatibility notes
This kit contains the MagnaClean Micro (22mm). Fit it on the return pipe where possible, indoors only; it is not suitable for external use. MC1 and MC3 are not for single feed indirect (prismatic) cylinders, and chemical doses need adding in proportion to larger systems.
Safety and installation
Adey recommends installation by a qualified heating engineer, following relevant electrical and safety standards. The chemicals are non-hazardous, but avoid contact with eyes and skin and keep them out of reach of children. Store the pack dry and frost-free in its original packaging until fitted.

Only a 98mm pipe cut-out with a filter height of 150mm and width of 80mm, so it fits boiler cupboards and other tight spaces.
In-line 360° rotational valves
Slip-coupling sockets and valves that rotate through 360° give multiple orientations for faster, simpler installation and retrofit. Valve bodies are nickel-plated brass with long-life PTFE ball seals.
Magnetic and non-magnetic capture
A 97mm x 19mm magnet captures magnetite, while the canister also traps non-magnetic debris. The fully removable canister stops captured magnetite re-entering the system.
Built-in vent and drain
An air bleed valve on top and a drain plug below make venting, draining and flushing quick, with just 30mm servicing clearance above and below.
MagnaCleanse compatible
Stays fully compatible with ADEY MagnaCleanse, so you can hot flush the system with the existing boiler in place.
Chemicals included
MC1 Protector guards against corrosion and scale, and MC3 Cleaner removes sludge, debris and fluxes. Both treat 125 litres or 15 single panel radiators per bottle.
