The Worcester Bosch EasyControl Black Thermostat & Smart TRV Set (7736701556) is a complete starter pack containing one EasyControl internet-connected smart thermostat and three Smart TRV heads (RT10-RFV). Together they give full heating and hot water control from the wall unit or via the EasyControl app on any smartphone — including room-by-room temperature management via the Smart TRVs, each of which controls an individual radiator and reports the room temperature back to the app.
The EasyControl thermostat connects to the boiler via a 2-core cable (wired) or optionally via an RF Key (wireless, sold separately). Once connected to the home internet it supports geofencing, home presence detection, programmable schedules, Alexa voice control, and IFTTT automation. The three included Smart TRVs are wireless and pair directly to the EasyControl — no separate hub or bridge required. Available in black.

EasyControl thermostat — internet connected
The EasyControl wall unit is the system hub. It connects to the boiler via a 2-core cable (or the optional RF Key for wireless) and to the home router via Wi-Fi. The app gives full remote control of heating schedules, temperature, and hot water — including adjusting individual rooms via the Smart TRVs — from any location with mobile data or Wi-Fi.
3× Smart TRV heads included — room-by-room control
The three RT10-RFV Smart TRV heads pair wirelessly to the EasyControl and replace existing TRV heads on radiators. Each TRV monitors its room temperature with an integrated sensor and controls the radiator valve independently. Up to 19 TRVs can be added across the system — each appearing as its own zone in the app.
Home presence detection & geofencing
Using the smartphones of household members as presence sensors, EasyControl automatically reduces the heating when everyone has left and turns it on again as occupants return home. Up to 10 app users can be tracked simultaneously — the heating stays on until the last person has left.
Alexa, IFTTT & third-party integration
Pair the EasyControl with Amazon Alexa for voice commands, or connect to IFTTT to automate heating alongside other smart home devices. Voice commands allow temperature adjustment and schedule changes hands-free — useful while cooking, sleeping, or arriving home with full hands.
Boiler Plus & ErP compliant
Satisfies the time and temperature control requirements of Boiler Plus regulations. With three or more Smart TRVs connected, the system qualifies for a 5% boost to the ErP energy efficiency rating — improving the property's system energy label and supporting compliance documentation.
Same back plate as Wave — easy upgrade
The EasyControl uses the same back plate and wiring connections as the Worcester Bosch Wave thermostat. Upgrading from a Wave requires only unclipping the old unit and clipping in the EasyControl — no re-wiring required in most installations.
Compatibility: The EasyControl is designed for use with Worcester Bosch boilers. While it can be connected to non-Worcester-Bosch boilers as a standard wired or wireless thermostat, full app functionality and ErP optimisation require a compatible Worcester Bosch appliance. The Smart TRVs work with any M30×1.5mm standard valve body — or other bodies using the supplied adapters.
Important installation note: Do not install a Smart TRV on a radiator in the same room as the EasyControl wall unit — having both a thermostat and a TRV in the same room can cause the heating to run continuously. Fit the TRVs in all other rooms.
