Description

The Viessmann Vitodens 050-W 19kW system boiler is an attractively priced wall-mounted gas condensing boiler designed to work with a separate hot water cylinder, sharing the same Inox-Radial heat exchanger and MatriX cylinder burner as the rest of the Vitodens 050-W range.

Compact at 700mm high and 300mm deep, it suits smaller properties with a cylinder-fed hot water system, or replacement projects where an existing cylinder is being retained.

Please Note: This boiler must be connected using the Viessmann 60/100mm concentric flue system, tested and CE-designated as one structural unit with the boiler in accordance with DVGW-VP 113. Only this flue system may be used.

What's the difference between the system boiler and the combi version?

The system boiler heats a separate hot water cylinder rather than providing instantaneous hot water directly, and is used where a stored hot water solution suits the property — such as multi-bathroom homes or where mains water pressure is low.

Do I need a cylinder to use this boiler?

Yes, a system boiler requires a compatible unvented or vented hot water cylinder connected via the 4-pipe configuration to provide domestic hot water.

Do I need a ViCare Thermostat with this boiler?

A ViCare Thermostat for load compensation, or an outdoor sensor for weather compensation, is generally recommended to complete the control setup and meet Boiler Plus requirements — the two should not be combined on the same circuit.

Is this boiler suitable for LPG?
