Description

The Viessmann 60/100mm Standard Horizontal Flue Kit is the current-generation 1 metre wall terminal for Vitodens gas condensing boilers, complete with the reduced height flue elbow that shaves 30mm off the connection height compared with the original terminal — a genuinely useful margin when a boiler has to go into a tight kitchen cupboard or low ceiling void.

This is the direct replacement for the older standard terminal, with a clip-on exchangeable terminal head and a combined adaptor ring and rain guard built into a single component, cutting the number of parts an installer has to fit on site.

Important Safety Information: If the external wall terminal finishes at 2 metres or less above ground level near a public footpath or road, a protective grille must be fitted (available as an accessory) to prevent accidental contact with the hot flue outlet.

Please Note: The new Vitodens 100-W boilers ship with a modified drilling template that shows both the old and new terminal positions, so double-check which hole pattern applies before drilling — this avoids confusion where superseded kits are still in the supply chain.

Reduced height elbow

The elbow supplied with this kit is 30mm lower than the original design, giving valuable extra clearance in cupboard and void installations.

Clip-on terminal head

An easy exchangeable clip-on terminal speeds up replacement or servicing without disturbing the rest of the flue run.

Combined adaptor and rain guard

The adaptor ring and rain guard are combined into one component, reducing part count and installation time.

Optional plume diverter

An angled nozzle plume diverter accessory can be fitted in 8 different mounting angles, helping keep the plume clear of boundaries and adjacent walls.

Complete wall termination kit

Includes the flue terminal, reduced height elbow, internal and external wall bezels, and a silicone sealing sachet.

CE-designated system

Yes — Viessmann issues a drilling template covering both the superseded and current hole positions specifically to keep this kit compatible across the boiler range. Always confirm the exact appliance model before ordering.

Do I need a protective grille with this kit?

Only if the external termination point ends up at 2 metres or less above ground level near a public road or footpath. A matching grille accessory is available separately.

Can I add a plume diverter later?

Yes. The optional angled nozzle plume diverter is designed to work with this reduced height terminal and mounts in 8 different angles to redirect the exhaust plume away from boundaries.
