Designed for external wall mounting at the termination point of a 150mm duct run, it is available in multiple colours to suit different property exteriors. Overall grille dimensions are approximately 185 × 185 × 55 mm, providing a neat, low-profile external finish.

External Fitting: The grille should be fitted to the exterior face of an external wall, with the duct spigot passing through the wall to connect internally to the 150mm duct run. Ensure the grille face sits flush against the wall and seal around the perimeter with an appropriate external sealant to prevent weather ingress.

Does the gravity shutter work in all airflow rates?
The gravity shutter opens progressively with airflow pressure. At very low flow rates, the shutter may only partially open. For systems with minimal static pressure, consider the cowl-style VKC280 which has a lighter non-return flap.
What sealant should I use around the external grille?
Use a grey or colour-matched exterior silicone sealant around the perimeter of the face plate to prevent water ingress between the grille and the wall face.
Which colour variant do I order?
Specify the colour suffix when ordering — e.g. VKC292W (White), VKC292B (Brown), VKC292G (Grey). Confirm available variant codes with us.
Can this grille be used on a roof?
The VKC292 is designed for vertical wall mounting. For roof terminations, use a dedicated roof cowl or tile vent rated for that application.
