Frequently Asked Questions

What is included with this Vaillant ecoFIT Pure 835 pack?

This restart pack includes the Vaillant ecoFIT Pure 835 combi boiler, a horizontal flue and a Vaillant Advance magnetic system filter. It is intended as a convenient package for combi to combi replacement installations.

Is the ecoFIT Pure 835 suitable for my home?

The 835 is the highest output model in the ecoFIT Pure combi range, with a 35kW domestic hot water output and up to 14.1 litres per minute at a 35°C rise. It is generally suited to homes with higher hot water demand, but a qualified heating engineer should assess your property’s water flow, gas supply and heating requirements before purchase.

Does this boiler need a hot-water cylinder?

No. As a combination boiler, the ecoFIT Pure 835 heats domestic hot water directly on demand, so it does not require a separate hot water cylinder or cold-water storage tank.

Who can install this boiler?

Installation must be completed by a competent Gas Safe registered engineer, following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and all applicable UK gas safety and building regulations. The boiler must also be correctly commissioned and notified where required.

What warranty is available?

The boiler is supplied with a 2 year standard warranty, which can extend to up to 10 years with a Vaillant Advance installation. Warranty terms and registration requirements should be confirmed with Vaillant and the installing engineer.

Why is the Advance filter important?

The included Vaillant Advance filter helps capture magnetic debris circulating in the central heating system. Keeping contaminants out of the boiler and radiators can help maintain system efficiency and support reliable long term operation.
