What output do I need for my room?
200W/m² is for rooms with high heat loss — conservatories, large extensions with floor-to-ceiling glazing, poorly insulated properties. For standard insulated domestic rooms, 150W/m² is usually sufficient.
Can I install this in a wet room?
Yes — IP68 makes it safe in wet rooms and shower areas with appropriate waterproofing accessories.
Can I cut the heating cable?
Never cut the cable. Cut only the mesh backing between cable runs to change direction.
What floor finishes are compatible?
Primarily tile and stone tiled directly over. With self-levelling compound overlay, also suitable under wood and vinyl.
How much area do I need to heat?
Aim to cover at least 85% of the walkable floor area for effective even heating. Exclude fixed furniture footprints (baths, toilets, kitchen units).
