INSTALLER NOTE — VERTICAL PREFERRED
While the rotating swivel permits diagonal or horizontal installation where necessary, the vertical position with socket downward remains the optimal orientation for efficient gravity-assisted dirt settlement. In non-vertical installations, ensure the drain valve is accessible and note that collection efficiency may be marginally reduced.
