The Solis S6-EH3P30K-H is a 30kW three-phase high voltage energy storage inverter built for commercial and large residential solar-plus-storage systems. With a recommended max. PV array size of 60kW, a wide 150-800V battery voltage range, and two independently controlled battery ports each supporting up to 70A, it's engineered for high-power PV installations that need flexible battery scaling and robust backup performance.
Four MPPTs with a string current capacity of up to 20A each support a recommended PV array of up to 60kW, making this inverter compatible with high-power PV modules from any manufacturer without derating.
Two independently controlled battery ports, each supporting up to 70A of charge/discharge current, allow flexible battery bank scaling and let different battery types or ages be managed separately within the same system.
Supports multiple generator input methods with automatic On/Off control, allowing a backup generator to recharge the battery and support loads during extended outages without manual intervention.
Supports peak shaving control in both self-use and generator operating modes, helping commercial and large residential sites manage demand charges and smooth load spikes.
Supports parallel operation of up to 6 units for both on-grid and off-grid applications, allowing the same platform to scale from a single commercial installation to a much larger multi-inverter system.
The inverter can work as a standard grid-tied inverter without a battery connected while on-grid, giving installers flexibility to phase in battery storage at a later date on the same hardware.

What size PV array can be connected to this inverter?
The inverter supports a recommended maximum PV array size of 60kW across four MPPT inputs, each rated at 40A, making it suitable for high-power PV modules from any manufacturer without derating.
Can two different battery banks be connected at once?
Yes. The inverter has two independently controlled battery ports, each supporting up to 70A of charge/discharge current, allowing separate battery banks — potentially of different ages or types — to be managed within the same system.
How fast is the backup power switchover, and how long does the overload rating last?
The manufacturer's datasheet specifies a switchover time of under 10ms, with backup output rated at 1.6 times rated power for 2 seconds. This is a shorter overload window than the smaller S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H models, so motor-starting loads should be checked against this specific rating.
Can this inverter be used with a backup generator?
Yes. It supports multiple generator input methods with automatic On/Off control, allowing a generator to recharge the battery and support loads during extended outages without manual intervention.
Can multiple units be combined for a larger system?
Yes. Up to 6 units can be operated in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid applications, allowing the platform to scale well beyond a single commercial installation.
Does this inverter support UK grid connection standards?
Yes, the series is certified to G98 or G99 under the manufacturer's listed grid connection standards. Installers should confirm current DNO notification requirements based on total system export capacity before commissioning.
