The Solis S6-EH3P15K-H is a 15kW three-phase high voltage hybrid inverter, built for larger residential and light commercial solar-plus-storage systems. With a recommended max. PV array size of 30kW, a wide 120-800V battery voltage range, and a dedicated generator input, it's engineered for high-power PV modules of any brand alongside intelligent dual backup port management, making it a strong fit for demanding three-phase installations.
A maximum input current of 20A per MPPT across four independent trackers makes this inverter compatible with all high-power PV modules regardless of brand, supporting a recommended array size of up to 30kW without derating.
Two independently controlled backup ports allow intelligent separation of critical and non-critical loads, so essential circuits stay powered during an outage while less critical circuits can be shed to conserve battery capacity.
Built-in AC voltage detection of both grid and generator output prevents reverse current from the grid from damaging a connected generator, extending safe backup duration during prolonged power outages.
Supports peak shaving functionality in both self-use and generator operating modes, helping to manage demand charges and smooth load spikes for larger properties with variable consumption patterns.
The inverter supports unbalanced and half-wave loads on both the grid and backup port, allowing single-phase loads to be served flexibly from a three-phase supply without dedicated balancing equipment.
Native SG-ready heat pump compatibility allows the inverter to coordinate directly with compatible heat pump systems, using surplus solar generation to drive space and water heating more efficiently.

What size PV array can be connected to this inverter?
The inverter supports a recommended maximum PV array size of 30kW across four MPPT inputs, each rated at 20A, making it suitable for high-power PV modules from any manufacturer without derating.
Which batteries are compatible with this inverter?
The inverter operates within a wide 120-800V battery voltage range and is designed for Li-ion battery systems. Always confirm compatibility against the current Solis approved battery list before specifying a system, given the high voltage architecture.
How fast is the backup power switchover?
The manufacturer's datasheet specifies a switchover time of under 10ms, allowing critical loads on the backup ports to continue running through most grid outages with minimal interruption.
Can this inverter be used with a backup generator?
Yes. It includes a dedicated generator input rated at 15kW, with built-in AC voltage detection of both grid and generator output to prevent reverse current from damaging the generator during extended outages.
Can this inverter handle unbalanced loads across the three phases?
Yes. The inverter supports unbalanced and half-wave loads on both the grid and backup port, along with a maximum allowable phase imbalance of 100%, giving flexibility for uneven single-phase loads on a three-phase supply.
Does this inverter support UK grid connection standards?
Yes, the series is certified to G99 under the manufacturer's listed grid connection standards. Installers should confirm current DNO notification requirements based on total system export capacity before commissioning.
